Frequently Asked Questions about Webinars:

What is a webinar?

A webinar is an online seminar that you participate in via the web.

Doctor Cameron will host a session live at a preset time and date. You can listen on your own computer or you can join in by text or by speaking using a microphone plugged into your computer

How do I register to attend a webinar?

You click on the sign up link next to the webinar you wish to attend and then register on the page you arrive at.
Just follow the instructions and fill in your information on the page. You can send a question at that stage or wait until the webinar itself to send or ask questions.

What are the technical requirements for joining in?

Most importantly, you will need a computer with an internet connection. Your computer can be either a PC or a Mac

Your computer must have speakers or earphones to hear the audio from the meeting.

If you want to ask questions live then you will need a microphone too - Doctor Cameron recommends a combined headset with a built in microphone and headphones. Using the built in microphone and speakers on some laptops or desktops will work but may cause feedback noise due to the closeness of microphone and speakers.

How does the Webinar audio work?

The webinar uses VoIP technology so you don't need to 'dial in' through a phone line but you do need functioning speakers/ earphones.

Do I need a microphone?

You don't need a microphone if you simply want to listen but not speak. You will still be able to ask questions and interact using instant messaging which you can type from your keyboard. If you have access to a microphone then it often adds to the experience.

What if I can't hear the presenter at all?

If you are experiencing sound difficulties, we would recommend that you follow the steps below:

  1. Ensure your internet connection is fully functioning and that your speakers are turned on.
  2. Send a message to Doctor Cameron live using the text function.
  3. If the above steps do not work please exit the webinar completely and re-join again.

If you are still unable to hear the webinar please email Doctor Cameron and we will strive to sort things out for you.

Can I ask questions during the webinar?

We provide chat support online during the live webinars. This means that there will be a chat window where you can type messages and send them instantly to Doctor Cameron.

How long does the Webinar last?

The live webinar will last approximately one hour including the question and answer session.

Can my friend also attend?

Yes. Your friend can also sign up online using the registration link above.

Please don't feel intimidated by the thought of a webinar. The system is incredibly easy to use and there is no need for you to download anything to take part. Everyone who takes part finds these webinars fun and a great way to find help with shoulder pain.
